“Rockstar” Band Nickelback to Enthral Johannesburg in December 2013

Tourists who are already in Johannesburg, South Africa or have immediate plans to board flights to the city will have one more fantastic bait to consider while chalking out their travel itinerary for the city. The much popular Canadian rock band, Nickel back is touring the South African city in December, with music lovers in the area having their wishes addressed to on the 6th and 8th of the month.

The rock group will be performing live in Johannesburg on their The Hits Tour and is set to perform at the Coca Cola Dome. Nickelback is hugely popular in South Africa. Over half a million of their album copies have been sold in the country, and a complete musical extravaganza is expected as the band starts to belt out their popular hits. Apart from locals in the city, there is an expectation that people from different cities of South Africa will probably be boarding flights to Johannesburg to take in the ecstatic experience. Even foreign tourists are expected to work around their holiday schedule to make sure they are in Johannesburg around the concert dates.

Nickelback is expected to perform its best known song, How You Remind Me apart from other hits like If Everyone Cared, Photograph, Rockstar and Hero.

The sale of tickets is underway and people who wish to book concert tickets can do so online. Foreigners will find it most convenient to book their show tickets online as they can do so while reserving their seats on flights.

Johannesburg is truly a wonderful destination that is visited in hordes by holiday makers. The string of attractions and cultural highlights of the city are too many to count and tourists who land are often left nonplussed regarding the sightseeing part of their trip. December is perhaps the best to get a seat on Johannesburg bound flights as the temperature is just perfect in the southern hemisphere South Africa. Europeans would be thankful to be able to escape the dreaded winters back home!
